Date: Fri 21/09/2007 - 10:30 - 03:00 DJs: hip hop: MR CASE MIKEY DON OMAS DJ DYNAMIK with drum and bass from the inimitable B-52 MCs: Backchat, Digga Entry: £5/7after midnight, NUS/nwdnb/girls £5 all night or free before 11 pm More Information: the Community Service outreach team bring hip hop heads the best Friday night they can have out in Manchester. Once a month, expect to see the best hip hop acts around take to the stage, supported by our resident DJs, before we finish things off with a blast of drum and bass. This month we are kicking things off with prime local talent. Our resident dj CASE will be familiar to anyone who has followed the Manchester pirate radio scene over the years, as will MIKEY DON, bringing the biggest tunes. To round things off, we have drum and bass maestro B-52 and the vocal talents of BACKCHAT and DIGGA of PLATOON fame. B-52 is a veteran of Hysteria - one of the biggest drum and bass raves in the country. Everyone has got at least one Hysteria tape in their bedroom, and if they don't, they should have. come down and finish Fresher's Week off with us, and over the next few months, watch out for appearances from the likes of BROKE N ENGLISH and SKINNYMAN |
