It's difficut to describe exactly how the best beat should go with what lines. It varies a lot depending on what people rap about. But I would say that generally syncopated rhythms are good, and a reasonably loud bass. Myself, Ive only been onto this for about a month, and I can only come up with good raps when there is something specific going through my head, when Im hot on something. I don't write my stuff to a beat. I write my stuff first, then think about a beat for it. That didn't help much did it...? o well. I dont know what else to say right now.
